I’m going to start tomorrow.

That gives me time to have one more Sonic cherry limeade.

We can go out for one more cheesy delicious Mexican dinner and I’ll order one last margarita.

I’ll have one more handful of the boys’ candy.

The choice to lose weight is the one choice you need to make to start losing weight today.

Tomorrow.

We all know that’s not going to be true!  Yesterday, I said tomorrow.

Last week, I said tomorrow.

Once tomorrow finally does arrive and it becomes today again, I will say:

“I’ll start tomorrow.”

You with me?

Yesterday you said tomorrow. Just do it. Start losing weight today by making one smart choice. Then make the next choice smart. With each decision we make in our weight loss journey, you will find success.

Are you like me in that way? Always saying you’ll start tomorrow? Or next week? Or after that next special meal?

If you are, and you’re about as fed up as I am…this time it’s for real…let’s live in the moment and start right now!

I started my journey this past spring and have been able to maintain my weight loss and healthy choices for the most part. I found working out first thing in the morning works best for me-starting the day with some rare “all about me time”. I think the biggest difference is we have included more leafy salads into our meals and cut out salt (Mrs. Dash is our new best friend) from our food choices. Best of luck-it is definitely possible to have the healthy lifestyle without feeling you are giving up your indulgences.

I love to hear that!! I’ve been thinking lately that the best time for me, too, will be first thing in the morning…waking up before everyone else does. Otherwise, the crazy day begins and it feels like I can’t fit it in anymore. I’m definitely going to incorporate the salads!! Thanks for your comment and I’m so happy for you and your progress!!
