Babies & their hair: How it changes over the 1st year and beyond

My wish finally came true…I had a baby with dark curly hair! There were hints of it with teeny curls stuck to his head at birth. But then over the next few months, it would be wavy some days, but you just couldn’t really tell.

Suddenly, at 8 months, a curl popped up at the top of his head!

Then more. Then one day, it was definite…he was my curly haired boy. Just like his daddy. I was so psyched. As spring approached, more curls popped out. Then, one day…a cooler day…the curls were gone. Apparently, I can judge the day’s humidity based on his hair.
