I love stories that make me happy cry!!

Stuck on a flight from Boston to San Francisco on Halloween night…that’s no fun for any three-year-old!

Enter: Awesome dad to the rescue!

Dad passed out candy attached with a typed note to all of the passengers on the plane titled, “Happy Halloween” asking if they are willing “please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween!” In the note, he explained how bummed his little preschooler was that she had to miss trick-or-treating because of the flight. This way, she wouldn’t have to miss a thing!

News of this super dad’s treat went viral thanks to a tweet by one of the passengers, Stephanie Kahan, on the Virgin America flight.

I love it! Just goes to show you, if you get a little creative, you can change a child’s experience entirely. This dad could’ve easily thought, well, she’s just 3, there’s always next year. Instead, he took the extra time to make this could-be bummer night into one she’ll never forget.

Bravo dad!!
