This definitely isn’t one of my healthier recipes…but I love it all the same. The kids love it too, and it’s easier than actual tacos because they can hold the pizza slice without making a complete mess. Plus, the crust is made out of Pillsbury crescent rolls (yes, I know, I know!) so it’s easy!
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 envelope taco seasoning
- 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
- 1 (16 oz) can refried beans
- 2-3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 4 green onions, chopped
Heat oven to 375. Brown ground beef and drain. Add taco seasoning according to package directions. Unroll crescent rolls into rectangles. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press dough over bottom to form crust. Cook in oven for 11-13 minutes or until just golden brown. Cook beans in microwave or on stove until cooked and pliable. Carefully spread over pizza crust in thin layer. Top w/cooked beef mixture, sprinkle with cheese followed by tomatoes, and green onion. Return to oven for 3-6 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve immediately. Great for appetizers or main dish!
